A tea spoon is all one needs to make a cup of amazing chai unless one needs a strong tea. That's why I do not like tea bags that contain a lot of tea leaves. I prefer re-using the tea bags for a second time; but unfortunately out of habit, I throw them after the first use :(
PLEASE MAKE TEA BAGS WHICH CONTAIN JUST A TEA SPOON OF TEA.

I think "tea leaves" are needed to make a cup of tea and not just "tea spoon". :=)
I am not a chai drinker, but the quantity required might also depends on type of tea leaves.
i like my tea strong. I use 2 tea bags most of the time.
1 tea spoon of tea for 1 cup of tea.
1 table spoon for what?
